I am currently setting up a network of health-related websites and linking them together, and felt like sharing a few strategies about how you can create similar networks.

2009-04-26_1410

The basic idea is that you link various blogs together, but you create no reciprocal links. This way, all your links are one-way links, which are what you want when doing SEO. You also setup various web 2.0 sites, such as Squidoo, Wetpaint and Wordpress.com, and link them to your blogs using one way links.  You can also link the various 2.0 sites together if you want to. You can also start to social bookmark all the sites in your network to give them even more link juice.

The purpose is to create a link network with as many one-way link as possible leading to the CPA Offer, and also building up the link power of one particular alpha blog (In this case, Blog B).

Now, all sites can link directly to your CPA Offer. I recommend that you purchase a domain name that is related to the offer, and use Domain Forwarding (which sends all traffic to that domain directly to the CPA offer instead). If you use Godaddy, this is very easy to do. Just click on the domain and choose forward.  All the links will be directed to that particular domain you own, and redirected to the offer you wish to promote. If that particular offer you are promoting gets cancelled, just forward the domain to a similar offer.

First you need to get yourself a decent SEO host (or have accounts with different hosting providers). If you want to link your own sites together in the hope of getting SEO juice, you have to host your blogs on different C-Class IPs with different Nameservers. If this is too technical for you, ask the almighty Google to fill you inn.  I will go into more depth about this when I get the various sections here up and running.

It goes without saying that you need to have unique content on all these sites. I would also recommend that you have different sorts of content; reviews, related articles and so on. And that all the content you create have the keyword that you want to rank for as anchor text in the links.

Hopefully you got something out of this. This is a strategy that demands a fair share of work. If none of this make sense, don’t worry about it. Do what you do! This is only one way of making a few bucks online.

Been a busy few months, combining work, school and online business. But have tested a few strategies that have worked really well. For instance, I have made nine recurring affiliate sales this month from one website, which makes me somewhere around $400 in recurring commissions. Really pleased! It remains to see how long these customers [...]

Looking for a new host? Then you have probably faced the dreaded Gator already. Hostgator is recommended in all dark corners of the Internet. Sure, there are some brave contenders, such as Bluehost and Midphase, but the überhost of hosts eats them alive.
How did this Tyrannosaurus Host came to rule the Internet? The company isn’t [...]

I just visited a famous online marketing forum the other day, and read about the next black death. It’s called “forced continuity” and if you believe what you read, the devil himself is the architect.
Some people almost spontaneously combust when they hear these two words next to each other. Why all the fuzz? This is [...]

Getting Your Domain Listed At Page One of Google in One Day

February 28, 2009 Journal

Since PPC Kahuna is about to launch in two weeks time, I decided to promote the system.
Currently I am ranking at:

#1 for “ppc kahuna reviews”
#1 for “ppckahuna reviews”
#5 for “ppc kahuna”
#6 for “ppckahuna”

I don’t think there will be any substantial affiliate income here. Most of the leads and sales will come from mailing list advertising. [...]
